Nestled in the heart of Green Country is a place "where the earth meets the sky". It is a place of serenity and beauty - full of scenic views, springs, streams, hills, and valleys. The Blue Sky Water Society is a community rich in history and culture that is focused on preserving our Cherokee traditions and heritage.
Our purpose is to provide a place and opportunity for individuals to come together as one; Earth and Sky. The people of our community want an opportunity to share our stories, ideas, traditions, and talents with others who would like to experience our heritage - Cherokee culture.
We would like the opportunity to reach out beyond our boundaries and continue to promote the advancement of Cherokee people and the Cherokee way of life. This will help ensure the establishment of a community that is strong and stable. As our community goals are achieved, opportunities for education will be increased. We want to be able to renew our history, revive our language, and preserve our arts.
